Jose Mourinho wants to a add a third Champions League title as he eyes a return to management

Jose Mourinho is gunning for a return to top level management and a third Champions League title, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United manager revealed on Friday in an interview with AFP.

Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked by United in December and said he would like to be appointed as a boss at a club where he can add to his European triumphs with Porto in 2003 and Inter Milan seven years later, and draw level with Zinedine Zidane, Carlo Ancelotti and Bob Paisley.

If I can win a third Champions League, great,” the 56-year-old told AFP. “I would like to play in the best level, which is the Champions League. I want to be (in the race to win the Champions League next year). Sometimes, you are not in the race, but you have to win other races.

Dortmund slap $184million price tag on Jadon Sancho, Chelsea fight to keep starlet

Chelsea have a fight on their hands to keep hold of their England starlet, while Manchester United face a staggering fee for Borussia Dortmund’s teenage sensation.

And Liverpool’s formidable attack could be set to get even stronger.
The Chelsea winger is now wanted by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, while the Blues remain desperate to keep their young star.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, has been handed his first senior call-up by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate.
He hopes to play some part in England’s Euro 2020 qualifying opener against the Czech Republic tomorrow or in Montenegro on Monday.
German champions Bayern were keen for the youngster to sign in January Chelsea turned down a £35 million ($64m) offer  but are certain to make another attempt this summer.
Borussia Dortmund will put a £100-million ($184m) price-tag on Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.
Sancho, 18, could make his for competitive start for England in their Europe 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic at Wembley on Friday night.
The teenager has been a sensation at Dortmund this season after quitting Manchester City’s youth system.
But United’s chances of landing Sancho could hinge on Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been targeted by Dortmund.

GBOYEGA OYETOLA HAS REACTED TO THE VICTORY OF ADELEKE AS THE NEW ELECTED GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATE

The Osun State Government has reacted to the victory of the opposition governorship candidate at the election tribunal.
The three-man panel said during its ruling in Abuja Friday afternoon that the rerun election that held on September 27 that year was illegal.

The tribunal then deducted the votes scored by the declared winner, the All Progressive Congress candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, at the rerun.
The tribunal said Mr. Adeleke won the election at the first ballot on September 22, and the rerun that INEC devised to reach a final conclusion a week later was illegal.

Mr Oyetola was sworn in as governor after the election and is still in office.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government of Osun (SSG), Wole Oyebamiji, on Friday evening, the government said it remains committed to the legal battle.

The Government of the State of Osun wishes to appreciate the teeming support of the majority of the people in all things essential for mutual progress.

As it is, the administration of His Excellency, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, Governor, State of Osun wishes to assure the people that the judgment of the Election Tribunal has been put on appeal.

This is to further assure all the residents of the state of adequate security of lives and properties, as the government of the state is still the only legitimate government having the authority to govern the state.
We assure all our people that justice will prevail at last, and the law enforcement agencies have been instructed to maintain law and order across the State.

We, therefore, urge all the residents of the state to go about their lawful duties without any hindrance,  Mr. Oyebamiji said.

Based on Nigerian laws, Mr. Oyetola will remain in office, despite the tribunal ruling, until all options of appeal are exhausted which is often after the ruling of the Supreme Court.

A MAN TURNS AN OLD PLANE INTO HIS HOME. WATCH WHEN HE OPENS THE DOOR AND REVEALS THE INSIDE

If you found a plane in the woods, what would you imagine? Is this the wreck of a mysterious plane crash? Or an old plane graveyard? If it happens to be in Hillsboro, Oregon, then that’s just the not-so-humble abode of Bruce Campbell, a retired electrical engineer and very inventive man.
Bruce likes to turn planes that would have otherwise become scrap metal into beautiful up cycled masterpieces. He believes that airplanes can have so much potential outside of their intended use. He used a good dose of imagination, an old plane and a large plot of land to create the most unique house in the world. Read on to see how he built his very exotic home and take a look inside!

1. Dream Big

Bruce Campbell, a retired 64-year-old engineer, has always had a creative vision. When he was in his early 20s, he purchased a 10-acre piece of land for $23,000 deep in the forest of Hillsboro, Oregon with a very clear vision in mind.
From an early age, Campbell loved tinkering with old objects and materials to create new things. His plan for this land was to build a house from several freight vans. It seemed like a wonderful and innovative plan, but it was before he heard about a house built by someone else.

2. Change of Plans

About two decades later, Bruce Campbell heard about Joanne Ussery, a hairdresser from Mississippi who bought a Boeing 727 plane and transformed it into her home. Her previous house burned down, so after that she decided to build a functional airplane home next to a peaceful lakeside.
He was already moving forward with his freight van home idea, but Campbell thought a gigantic plane sounded so much more innovative and fun to play with. After all, he strongly believed airplanes should be saved from becoming scrap metal. Land wasn’t an issue because he already owned 10 acres, but he’d need enough money to buy and transport this unconventional kind of vehicle to Oregon.

LETTER TO BOLA AHMED TINUBU

LETTER TO BOLA AHMED TINUBU: Portrait Of The Tiger Ambode Rode (4)

Dear Chief Tinubu,
The back page of your The Nation of Tuesday 12 March where one of your Rottweilers under the FORGED name “Segun Ibirogba” wrote “Odumakin’s anxiety over vanishing feeding-bottles” has un-paused the button on this serial.

I have always wondered why these intellectual almajiris around you always attack me under fake names. It is either they are afraid of me or they don’t believe in you to risk their names doing the dirty job for you .Well, we know many of them hold worst views about you than us but for the free money they have been accustomed to from a Robbin Hood.

The piece referenced was a rehash of same old silly lies and freshly minted ones. In keeping faith with my resolve that for every dart of lie you guys throw in my direction ,I will return 10 bombs of truth I make this response. And for every line I write, I can say like Fela  Anikulapo-Kuti “Na true I wan talk again o,if I dey lie o, make Edumare punish me o”.

Since you guys made a failed attempt to impugn my integrity , I have chosen to use this edition to place your life side-by-side mine on the scale of integrity so we can know if your hen can point at the boil in a hawk’s eye. I intend to show that were it not that Nigeria has become Ceaser’s palace where the leper holds the veil, nobody in your circle should move near that subject.

I am Yinka Odumakin and nobody can say he had known me under any identity in my life .I have led a straight life unlike you that people know under different identities depending on whey they met you in your about 80 years on earth .Yes,80!

Those of us who are knowledgeable about you cant buy your 66 claim for so many reasons .The current governor of Osun is the son of your immediate senior sister from Iragbiji and he is 63 while you are claiming 66. Your first wife died in Lagos recently unannounced at 74.

When the son he had for you died many months earlier his age had to de doctored to fit into the lie that you live. And there is a photograph of yours at the palace of Soun  Ogbomoso in 1974 when the current monarch was installed with a bottle of beer and packet of cigarette in your front. You mean you were 20 when  you were drinking and smoking in a palace?
There is no school I have attended in my life that my classmates would not come out in droves to say “yeah, we were there together!”. From St Augustine Primary School, Ondo to CAC Grammar School, Edunabon and Oduduwa College Ile -Ife down to Obafemi  Awolowo University, Ile -Ife and University of Ghana.

At your end St John Primary School Aroloya you claimed may be created by your new governor in Lagos. The old boys of Government College !Ibadan were planning a reception for you when someone asked which set you belonged to .There has been no answer to that till date and the reception was cancelled. The tales by moonlight on Chigago State University and University of Chiicago are all over the place.

My parents are alive in Osun and by God’s grace I will give them a befitting burial. I will not have to send emissaries to bury them since I have not abandoned “moomi” (that’s how we Oyo people in Osun call mummy) to be calling another woman “maami” in Lagos to fit a life of lie and greed. No Mama HID Awolowo would have told me that she knew all the children of “maami ” and that I was not one of them.

My parents are not rich but I am proud of them because it is from their black pot that my white palp has come out. I say proudly among my University mates today that they could not afford more than N60 per month for me throughout my University days .The story of grass to grace is a proud thing among the Yoruba. MKO Abiola was proud of the story that he ate egg for the first time in his life in the home of Simbiat Abiola’s parents.

With the modest means of my parents, they instilled so much values in me that there is no crime attached to my name in all my years on earth. Forging traveling passports had never appealed to me. Neither has my name been linked to a narcotic ring leading to inquiry and forfeiture of assets. All my life, my hands have provided for me. And they have provided for you too.

I recall when you returned from exile in 1998 and running for governor. You were not “Ezeego” then. You had only the Sunday Adigun house and all the four cars you used then belonged to Mr Ganiyu Solomon. There were a lot of printings being done for you by your friends at The News. I saw the price you were being offered and I told you my press could do it at 40%. I delivered and saved you 60%. I recall Mr Babafemi Ojodu complained openly that they could not do the price I offered you !
That should tell you and your attack dogs that I have always separated the cause I believe in from what I would eat unlike you who always mix the two. You pose as a June 12 hero today but Kola Abiola is alive to tell the story of what happened to MKO’s money as Bashorun is no longer alive. In 20 years, there is hardly any boundary between Lagos treasury and your private pockets. Your “O to ge” moment is coming some day and all the dirty deals will be out.
Like a rapist, you can tell your victims to shout “O to pe” for as long as stolen funds and drug money rule Lagos politics.

I have noticed that because you and your followers have no abiding principle and you are driven by only lust for money, you assume it is so for everybody. Your being glued to the lowest of all spirits (money) makes it difficult for you to make the right judgement about people thinking they are all about money. Was it that you didn’t have money when I told you in December 2006 that it was over between us politically? Have I ever looked in your direction ever? There are men who may not be able to give N10,000 to a cause but if they say they want to see me at 8AM I would be there at 7. Can you summon me with all your bullion vans?

I recall how you said to me in 2006 about Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi and I quote you “Adiye ni Tokunbo, yin agbado fun a pada” (Tokunbo is a fowl, throw corns and it is U-turn). Has he not turned his back at you today? You don’t have “corns ” again? This was the man who was your fall guy when you made all the forgeries in 1999. He was among the team that went to bury your biological mother in Iragbiji when you could not show your face, has his exit not shown you there are men who place value on principle than money?

I have lived my political life on the basis of the fact that an adversary today can be an ally tomorrow and vice versa. I am not beholden to any person outside the core beliefs we share. One of the men I had an open disagreement with was President Obasanjo and when we reconciled it was an open thing. That differentiates me from you who walk both sides of the streets simultaneously. You were with NADECO and also in bed with Abacha through whom you forged friendship with the Chagourys who are your business partners till date.

The political buffoons around you would hold you out as an anti-third term person today but you know what happened between us on May 2, 2006. We had a meeting at Airport Hotel in Lagos where you were dictating the communique against third term unknown to participants you were at a meeting till wee hours of that morning to work third term in another way.
I was reading the communique to the press when you called me. I gave the phone to the late Rev Tunji Adebiyi but you told him you wanted to speak with me. We didn’t get to talk till late in the night. I had with me in the car as you spoke with me from VGC to Ikeja then President of Egbe Omo Yoruba in North America, Mr Odusanya. Let me quote you verbatim :

“I hope you have not released that communique. We need to manage this third term carefully. Obasanjo is a blind cat. If he causes problem now and they kill one Yoruba graduate in Kano and we kill 200 people selling onions in mile 12 it is not equal. I am therefore proposing that we have a win-win situation. Instead of outright third term we can have the confab recommendation of one six-year tenure starting with the incumbent having 2 extra years and so with we the governors. We can use the two years to empower people like you and handover to one of you. I have asked General Alani Akinrinade to come and I am going to meet Prof Soyinka to discuss it. I want you to think about it”
I told you as a matter of fact that the proposition was unreasonable and there was nothing for me to think about as I would prefer outright third term where we would have elections to automatic two years extension. But my eyes were opened to how unreliable you are that night. Here was a man dictating communique against third term in the morning having this conversation with me at night.
I made up my mind on you that night. The conversation I had with you minutes after Funso Williams was killed and the way you handled your succession made me too severe political links with you within six months .

KANO IN FOCUS; WILL BUHARI'S INTEGRITY SURVIVE APC BEYOND 2023?

Kano in Focus: Will Buhari's Integrity Survive APC beyond 2023?

The few days have been quite intriguing. PDP maintained it strongholds in South South and  South East. PDP states voted the worst thieves and roughs. With the desperation they depicted, PDP bought over Federal institutions, emptied State treasuries, compromised security and INEC, engaged in killings, vote buying, ballot box snatching, burning of houses, burning of INEC offices, and other forms of electoral crimes to maintain their strongholds. It was very easy to manipulate elections in PDP states than it was to rig elections in APC state. click here http://www.smyleworldinfotech.blogspot.com/Kano in Focus: Will Buhari's Integrity Survive APC beyond 2023?

The Buhari campaign slogan placed integrity as  the bench mark for any victory in elections. The North bought into the Buhari ideology and are fully disposed to send criminals out of power.

For those misinterpreting the rejection of Ganduje as the rejection of APC in Kano, let me tell you that with or without Ganduje, Kano remains an APC State. Kano voted massively for Buhari, even supporters of Kwankwaso voted for Buhari. In the just concluded Gubernatorial and houses of Assembly Elections, APC won all the 3 senatorial seats, all the Federal House of Reps seats and more than 2/3 majority of State Houses of Assembly seats. Local Government Chairmen and Councillors in Kano are all APC.

The problem of Ganduje is purely one of disenchantment over corruption changes after the video scandal that saw Ganduje giving bribes. It is worthy of note that those who began investigation and the politics that led to an almost defeat of Ganduje are APC State Houses of Assembly members. No PDP State House of Assembly can dare that, in their characteristic nature PDP go out to protect and defend thieves amongst their fold. PDP State Houses of Assembly are rubber stamp, recall Speaker of Ekiti State  was always seen kneeling before Fayose

No particular individual can determine Kano political space, only integrity can sway the Kano votes. For historical purposes and to buttress my point, in the first term of Kwankwaso as Governor, he got arrogant and the people immediately rejected him and replaced him with Shekarau. Shekarau made same mistakes and he was abandoned to be replaced with the return of Kwankwaso. Kwankwaso in his second term was good, but wanted to impose a candidate and his candidate was rejected and Ganduje was anointed to embarrass Kwankwaso

Today Ganduje has messed up, it will take the special grace of God for him to be forgiven. No single individual can assuage the people of Kano to forgive Ganduje, only Buhari can do that because of the cult loyalty he enjoys in Kano. In all his elections, Buhari has won Kano and Kano people can't resist what he tells them to do.

The electorate in Kano State isolated Gov Ganduje for punishment because of a leaked bribery video after they voted APC mostly, to the National & State Assemblies;  But in CRS, a governor was rewarded with another term in office despite  proof that he has already mortgaged the state. A recent document showed that the Cross River State Governor awarded a contract of N648.8Billion to his own company and requested that the state should be paying him N300million monthly for a period of 180years on a project that can never be done in 10years, let alone 4years. Also in Delta, James Ibori an ex convict is the political godfather and king maker. In Enugu PDP is like a cult with Ike Ekeremadu known for numerous allegations bothering on corruption in foreign assets as the king maker.

While PDP in South South and South East build electoral victory on corruption and sharing of loots through vote buying and rigging, the APC dominated States of North and South West are building on performance and integrity as a point of political acceptability

If APC allow for the capture of most of their States by insistence on integrity, by 2023, no politician or supporters will remember what integrity is. The captured States of PDP will send us back to the dark day of corruption and impunity. Integrity will be packed in boxes heading to Daura after the end of Buhari second tenure.

The best chance for APC against 2023 is to forgive Ganduje and  consolidate Kano on our stronghold with heavy votes. On the other hand Buhari and APC National party structure must develop a platform to checkmate corruption of all Governor especially those in APC. There are many corrupt APC Governors whose excesses must be checked to align with the Buhari anti corruption drive

PDP might not have won the presidency but they are smart, losing Kano to PDP will give back  what they have lost and pave way for the return of corruption. If Kano was a PDP State,  PDP will kill anyone who stands on their way to take it from them, because if PDP wins Kano today, they will get stronger and can  easily manufacture 5 million votes overnight to rig any presidential election in their favour.

APC must look beyond Buhari and his integrity. It took us lots to defeat Atiku even when Nigerians know him as highly corrupt. I have great fears that if we don't rise to be more political than too holy, APC may end with Buhari's second term in office. Most annoyingly, the sins of most voted Governors of PDP  in South South and South Eastern States are worst than those of Ganduje. If you are in doubt just take a deep look at the excesses of the PDP sanctimonious Wike or Fayose, then you will see the face of everything called corruption in Wike and Fayose.

Kano people listens to Buhari, for political reasons and for total defeat of corruption, Buhari need to make some concessions. It is imperative for Buhari to move beyond integrity to save Kano from being taken over by PDP

ATIKULATED CHOICES

ATIKULATED CHOICES

By Babafemi Ojudu

Sometime in 2014, my uncle- in -law, the late Professor Babalola Borisade, requested I help him organize a meeting between Atiku Abubakar and South West Senators. Atiku was about to go for the season’s primary election that will enable him bid for the Presidency.

He and President Mohammadu Buhari were front runners for the ticket of the then recently formed All Progressives Congress (APC). About ten or twelve of us showed up for the meeting and with rapt attention we listened to both him and Borisade, his then campaign Director General (DG).
I was the first to respond.

I praised his business acumen and told the story of a female friend of mine, an award winning former Cable News Network (CNN) Correspondent in South Africa who, when invited to give a convocation speech in Atiku’s American University in Yola, sought my advice on whether to accept the invitation or not. It was at the height of the rampage by Boko Haram across the North East.

I strongly encouraged her and told her the university would ensure her security. She went and gave her speech and after the event she sent a message to me that what she saw in Yola , at the university, was ,in her words, an “oasis in the desert”.

I also cited my experience in Rivers State when I, in company of a committee of the Senate, visited Intels, a company in which Atiku has substantial interest . I was impressed with what I saw, the work environment, the goals and objective of the company as enunciated by one of his sons who received us at the company. The vibes I picked up in Intels was a mark of can- do, particularly when we were told the company was about picking up a multi billion dollar contract to build a port from scratch in a southern African country.

At the meeting, I told Atiku that with those testimonies, I would  have loved to vote for him at the coming APC convention in Lagos but, and there is a big but... his  image and reputation had been sufficiently damaged by no less a person than his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo.
I told him with all emphasis I could muster that he is a damaged product and he should not just waste his time. He tried to explain why his erstwhile boss chose to say and write those damaging words about him. He indicated he was not corrupt and challenged anyone who thinks otherwise to bring the evidence of his corruption.

Truly most of the accusations of under- the -table deals done by the regime in privatizing government enterprises that were laid on Atiku doorstep were actually Obasanjo inspired as we found in the course of our investigation . We invited Obasanjo then to shed more light on the allegations against him as well as our findings but he failed to show up. Our attempt to subpoena him was stalled by the Senate leadership then.

As we have come to see Obasanjo is the one who calls everyone thief when the entire community could see his fingers dripping of palm oil.
Branding is very important in public life. Atiku and his supporters didn’t give much attention to this . They rather spent their time building up and promoting lies against the opponent. If the amount of money , Social media space time and resources committed to demonizing President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo had been expended on rebranding Atiku, maybe things would have turned out differently.

Atiku’s first major error in his last bid was going back to the same Obasanjo to mend fences or seek forgiveness when he should have gone after him with the ferocity of a wounded lion to show he lied against him , if he did ,or demonstrate his innocence.
I can’t remember any major decision taken by this politician in his entire political career that didn’t turn out to hurt him .

The moment Atiku went on that journey to Abeokuta with his band of peace makers I knew he had lost the bid for the Presidency again.
Young partisans of Atiku’s  opponent went out, combed every available source and researched  into all Obasanjo has written and said about him to find materials, consolidating Atiku’s branding as a very corrupt politician.
Omoyele Sowore AAC dug his teeth and nail into him and presented him as an example of what is wrong with Nigerian leadership. Madam Ezekwesili was not left out until she herself got an uppercut from the Chairman of her party who doubled as her running mate.
The campaign saw a mincemeat and couscous made of his reputation and credibility. Obasanjo, who he courted to add value to his campaign became his albatross.
How dumb could he be as a politician!

It is difficult forgiving Atiku for his political blunders. He has all it take to educate himself properly and to hire people who have the capability to advise correctly.
His political faux pas kept recurring all through his career.
Let us cast our mind back to 2010.
Rather than stick with his party, ACN, Olagunsoye Oyinlola lured him to Abeokuta to prostrate for Obasanjo.

He thereafter quit Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and went on another adventure. He was at a meeting with Bola Ahmed Tinubu the night before . Both took time to strategize on how to build a party that will defeat Jonathan. He gave no inkling of his visit to Abeokuta the following day. His advisers had billed the meeting as a private consultation with Obasanjo but the old, never forgiving fox kept journalists somewhere in the premises and soon as the meeting ended they pounced on Atiku like a hound of watch dogs will on an unwanted visitor.

What can one say of his attitude as Vice President . Atiku could have waited the time out, demonstrate loyalty and serve the country truly. Instead of waiting for the appointed time Atiku embarked on setting up a political machine that thrashed and undermined his boss.
He allowed himself to be deceived by some governors then who met with him during the day and scurried to Obasanjo in the night to inform him of Atiku schemings.
If money making were same thing as political acumen, Atiku would have towered above any other politician in Nigeria.

His political understanding and sensibility has almost been numb. Whatever he has achieved in politics has been purchased with money and there is limit to how far that could have taken him.
Let’s not talk about his choices of running mates on the two occasions he ran for President. He has an untrammeled love for Obis. Could he have made better choices? He sure could have if he had been a much more savvy and calculating politician.
His utterances? Gosh! Every statement that came out of his mouth is politically awful. I will sell NNPC, I will enrich my friends, I will give amnesty to looters. I insist on selling NNPC even if they will kill me. Haba! Won pe e lole o ngbomo eran jo ( you are said to be a thief, you are playing with someone else’s lamb).

Some internet brats could not stand his determination to sell NNPC and quipped that it appears he has already taken deposits from buyers.
He was even quoted as saying that he will only complete the 2nd Niger Bridge because the Igbos are his in laws.

Atiku’s party hopping proclivity is astounding. A man of such means could have organized a movement around himself and his ideology if there is any. He rather chose to look for parties to hop into each time he dreams of becoming a president. Often they were parties he had abandoned before with such loud condemnation and reproof. Talk of going back to ones vomit serially.
As it turned out Atiku didn’t build a base. He support came mainly from those who hated Buhari’s guts and many others who lost undeserved entitlements .

Whenever he quits a party to join another, the reasons he often give are banal, self serving and contradictory. One often wonders why he never get to hire a sound strategist. Or is it just a question of a swollen headed wealthy, fat cat who assumes he knows it all.
I remember the mess he was made of by a young South West politician who had allegiance to three candidates in the APC primaries that produced President Buhari. He invested so much dollars in the politician who promised him many delegates.

The same politician had collected money from another aspirant from the North while he at the same time pledged support for President Buhari who he clearly knew was the favorite of the party leaders to pick the ticket.

Our man advised Atiku to stay put in his hotel suite and not to show up at the convention venue until late while he went about his deals.
It was one of Atiku’s  confidants who I learnt at about 10.00 pm on the convention day roused him from this deception and scolded him for listening to the advise of someone who was everywhere on the convention ground doing deals.

Atiku eventually arrived at the venue and the young man refused to go say hello to him or even walk close to where he sat. Thousands of dollars thrown away, wasted.
I pray Atiku is not being set up by political yahooist to part with whatever is left in his war chest for the 2019 expedition. Your excellency shine your eyes well well.

AKINLADE CHALLENGE THE TRIBUNAL OF THE GUBER RESULT WHICH HELD ON MARCH 9TH

CHALLENGING THE OGUN MARCH 9TH GUBER RESULTS AT THE TRIBUNAL, A COURAGEOUS AND HONORABLE THING TO DO - AKINLADE

At a strategic meeting held in Ibara Housing estate Abeokuta on the 16th of March, 2019, the guber candidate of Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade affirmed his resolve to challenge the March 9th election results at the tribunal. He claimed that compelling evidence available to him and his team clearly shows that APM won the election but was rigged out.

He said that his team has spent the last week gathering evidence to prove this claim.

When reminded that he once said that he will accept the election result if he lost, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade said that in this instance, he did not loss but was rigged out.

Akinlade also claimed that Prince Dapo Abiodun was quoted of boasting that 'Federal Might' will be deployed to undermine the tribunal judgement regardless of how credible the APM evidence are.

Meanwhile, Hon Adekunle Akinlade(MHR) said he will formally write Mr. President (H. E. Muhammad Buhari) and Prof. Yemi Oshibajo (VP) on the need to protect his constitutional rights as a supportive citizen who openly endorsed thier candidatures and mobilized votes for them during the just concluded Presidential election.

He further said that he has directed his legal team to write the US, UK, EU and other international organisations to send independent obsevers to monitor the Ogun guber tribunal case because any attempt by anyone or group to manipulate or buy judgement, no matter how highly placed  will be resisted with all means possible for more. click here

In his words, "they stole our APC mandate at the guber primaries on 2nd of Oct. 2018. They brought in armed uniformed men on the night of March 9th 2019, to manipulate and substitute election results, arrest and send APM agents away from collation centres to achieve their plans to rig the election".

Akinlade therefore, call on the good people of Ogun State to remain calm and resolute while promising to restore their mandate and put smiles on thier faces no matter the cost.
